When you have a WL of 500 (or 1000), you should. You shouldn't use every new frag unless it makes a difference of 20 or 30 rarity points. Farming SC isn't very effective at this WL and you probably get enough SC by just playing. For mid level wizards (100 - 500) I'd suggest to look what frags you've got in your inventory and in your talisman, choose the better suiting ones (and sell the others when you got the achievement for 20 frags in inventory) and spend the SC in. It isn't even necessary to spend SC on your frags, it doesn't make a big difference. For low level wizards (<100) I'd suggest just to ignore the existence of SC at all. When you get a skill for a gem, the gem will be available on all fields. Q: Where do I get additionally gems? When can I build amps?Ī: Open the skilltomes. Could I get a few tips on newbie enraging? (WL 50-100)Ī: On the very most most fields it is a good idea to bomb the wavestones of wave 1-10 with one g1 gem, then use two gems till w20 and stop enraging around w30… Use more bombs and higher grades when you got used to it. Q: I've seen a lot of stuff about enraging waves and I totally don't get it. If you don’t want to spend too much time just let the game run and look if some monsters are killed.
Q: Should I be bothering with endurance at all in regular games?Ī: Why not - every killed monster gives additional xp.
Q: Should I be using battle traits when doing battles normally or just when I'm using a bunch and going for high exp?Ī: Using battle traits is mostly a good idea for gaining more xp. Q: I'm still like level50 wizard level, should I just do regular gem combining or the weaving stuff?Ī: Just don’t care - combining is an endgame tactic Q: Is a Mac/Linux/iOS/Android version planned? Q: Where are the other chapters? Why are they not on Steam?Ī: There is no plan to port the earlier chapters to Steam, you can play them at Armorgames or Kongregate. The Steam version is not linked with any of the web version due to savegame incompatibilities (the Steam version has more fields, different unlocks, etc…) Q: Can I port here my progress from Armorgames/Kongregate? My premium purchase?Ī: No, you cannot. * Test your true skills in the Iron Wizard mode! * Saved games and preferences are stored in the Steam Cloud * Achievements can be unlocked as Steam achievements * Even more and even larger fields to explore and conquer Q: What are the differences between the Steam version and the web version?
